Your Park, Your Big Draw is a day of activities and DIY art installations for all ages within an open park environment. There will be great things to draw at the Timber Lodge and along the Lea Valley River nearby. Meet at: The Timber Lodge at 2:00. Draw and meet back there at 4:30 for a review of our sketches.

The Serpentine Gallery’s Summer pavilion – designed by Sou Foujimoto – is the centerpiece of this month’s Sketchmob. Join us in Kensington Gardens, near the Albert Hall, to experience that most precious of moments – a lovely English summer’s day.

So, come along and enjoy a couple of hours drawing in the leafy heart of The City, and then perhaps a glass or two afterwards [venue tba.]

The next Sketchmob event will be held on Thursday 4th July, 18.30pm at the Hay’s Galleria, 1 Battle Bridge Ln, London SE1 2HP.

We will meet in between the boat (model one in the gallery space) and the river, near Cafe Rouge.

Sketchmob Summer School 2013

The Sketchmob Summer School takes place at great locations with great people. Each session teaches tips for improving skills and the whole course costs £55.  Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis as they were last year, just follow the simple instructions on the enrolment form.You will receive an email acknowledgement.  Please note our admin. capability is very lean. We can not refund enrolment fees but can answer questions addressed to this site.

Founded in 1828 as a teaching collection, The Grant Museum of Zoology is one of London’s best known secrets. It houses around 67,000 specimens, skeletons and preserved animals of all size and species covering the whole animal kingdom. It is rich in subjects for drawing. See you there.

Come all ye faithful to the final Sketchmob of 2012. Meet on the steps of the main entrance in Great Russell Street at 6.45pm. We will draw in 3 galleries, looking at exhibits and the space using single point perspective tips from The Drawing Gymnasium. A quick review of the drawings at 8.45 then we retire to the Museum Tavern on Gt. Russell Street from 9.00pm.
