DESCRIPTION:  \n  \n \n© Photograph: Phychem \nShhh………Paddington Station\nFriday April 22 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. \nSKETCHMOB have previously been forbidden to sketch at Paddington station so we will keep this meeting our little secret. \nThe magnificent Paddington Station\, designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel is known for its three splendid wrought iron spans that combine engineering bravura with lean decorative finesse. From our location we will be sketching the hustle of the evening commute\, and in addition we will have the spectacle of the Great Western Railway Band who play a concert on Fridays between 7.30 – 9.00pm on Platform 9. Meet on Platform 9 around 6:50. Trevor will share a few ideas about how to draw figures singly\, in groups\, and set against simple views to give scale to drawings.The concert will attract lots of stationary models\, as well as musicians in full flow. \nDraw for 2 hours then look at sketches near Platform 9\, then retire for an optional quick drink to The Mad Bishop and Bear\, a short escalator ride away………… \nPlease note no Bakerloo trains stop at Paddington until Sept.
